White Walls, Black Accents

I love these light and bright spaces offset by dark accent walls. Peppered with rows and rows of books, the look oozes with effortless sophistication that's delightfully gender neutral.

P.S. This is my 300th post! Here's to many, many more :)

I just painted an accent wall in my bedroom a near-black color, it's called "poppy seed"! I'm so happy with how it looks, it adds so much drama.

I am so obsessed with this right now I cannot even tell you. We did white walls and black trim and everytime I walk in the door I want to makeout with myself for being so cool. Love it.

I love this look! The second photo is my favorite. Those floor to ceiling bookshelves look absolutely fabulous painted black on the inside. I keep trying to convince my husband to let me paint our bedroom dark charcoal.

Congrats on your 300th post, Mackenzie! I adore this. I love it even more with metallic or gold accents, as in the first photo.

I LOVE that first room, MacKenzie. So my style. I will use that image in my Friday post (with a link to you, of course).
