I HEART BOSTON

I just got back from the most picture perfect weekend in Boston with Amy, Carly, and Emily. We went up for the Head of the Charles and stayed in a gorgeous room at the Lenox Hotel (highly recommend!). There was brunch at Stephanie's, shopping on Newbury Street, an afternoon stroll through Public Garden and Beacon Hill... I can't tell you how much fun we had! It didn't hurt that the Red Sox advanced to the World Series while we were there ;) I could totally see myself living in Boston at some point. Have you been? Could you live there? I'm already excited to go back!

OVER THE KNEE BOOTS

I know they're not for everyone but I'm seriously debating a pair of over the knee boots for fall. These ladies — Chrissy Teigen, Emmanuelle Alt, and Olivia Palermo — make them look pretty darn chic, wouldn't you agree? If you're contemplating a pair of your own, here are a few choice selections:

3.1 Phillip Lim Ora camel leather boots ($975, more sizes available here)  Stuart Weitzman 5050 stretch suede boots ($598, smaller sizes available here)  Coach Palmera suede boots ($498)  Lauren Ralph Lauren Jeannette oiled suede boots ($298 — love these!)  Sam Edelman Kayla over the knee boots ($274)  Nine West suede boots ($189)  Sole Society Angie riding boots ($129 — classic and cute!)  Chinese Laundry Nostalgia over the knee boots ($99)

Quick observation: my favorites are navy or tan (less expected than black) and, as much as I love a high heel, I think a flat heel is your safest bet with an over the knee style. What do you think? Would you wear over the knee boots? Do you have a favorite pair?
