Cheap Thrills

I love to shop and I like to think I'm pretty good at it. I love the feeling of scoring a great deal or finding an inexpensive product that works just as well as a pricier alternative. When it comes to my beauty regimen (which I've far from perfected), I'm all about a good drugstore find. Here are a few of my favorite inexpensive basics:

Origin biotin pills, $2.49 (A recent hair growth recommendation from Ashlina!)
Neutrogena ultra sheer sunblock, $8.99 (Dries fast and leaves skin super soft!)
Aquaphor healing ointment, $6.99 (Perfect for chapped lips come winter!)

What are your favorite drugstore buys?

These are some of my favorites, too. I am particularly obsessed with Aquaphor! I spread it on my feet before working out (wearing socks of course). All that heat makes it sink in really well.

Great picks! I also love Maybelline's fast drying nail polish. I find it applies well and there is less of a chance of smudges.

I love aquaphor! I've also recently just discovered Johnson & Johnsons baby lotion in vanilla oatmeal, it smells delicious but still clean and is a score for less than five bucks.

I love: Blister Block, anything Aveeno, Cover Girl make-up and Essie nail polish as well!

I found this at the container store and I love to display them even more now :)

Great post. I love seeing what others use on a daily basis. I just switched from YSL touche eclat to Loreal True Match concealer. I'm impressed with it, and the price is way better. I love Aveeno unscented lotion and Boots Protect and perfect serum. Thanks for sharing yours!

Great picks! I also use that sunscreen and Aquaphor!

Another favorite is Eucerin hand cream. Palmer's Cocoa Butter Stick is also great for lips, cuticles, and elbows. It's like a jumbo glue stick!

I've been rocking the Sally Hansen Salon Effects Nail Polish strips for the past few weeks in different patterns and have been getting loads of compliments!

What great products! I use pre-natal gummy vitamins instead of Biotin. If I have to take vitamins, I prefer they at least be fun! You should try them if you don't see a fast change with the Biotin. Just make sure you take them with food in your stomach or you will get incredibly nauseous and think you are actually pregnant. Also, they are great at preventing sickness and keeping you healthy with the cold winter coming. Okay, no more sounding like an infomercial.

I can't live without Clean & Clear's Dual Action Moisturizer. My face gets SO dry after cleansing and this silky lotion takes care of it plus has a little bit of acne medication in it. They also have a version that has SPF 15 in it, and I so wish they would combine the moisturizer, acne medication, AND SPF into one killer product. Haha.
