sleeping in

i don't have class until 2 o'clock on thursdays so you can bet i will be making the most of my morning — by staying in bed as late as possible. i'm usually all for waking up early and getting a good start on the day but tomorrow is most definitely a day for sleeping in. lucky me!

bucknell orange

maybe it's my school spirit or my "red" hair piping up but lately i've been very drawn to bursts of orange in clothing and home décor. whether you go wild with an all-orange ensemble or keep it simple with a couple well-placed interior accessories, i hope you'll be equally inspired by these pretty examples.
the girl who never gets it wrong: olivia palermo knows when to keep it simple and when to go for broke.
a tangerine hue for the structured silhouette of amber valletta's dress and the walls of this vibrant home office.
an oft-blogged-about vignette that i still can't get over: punchy mirrors flanked by pretty topiaries.
floral or ruffled, orange can have a wonderfully whimsical impact.
red-orange works beautifully on the sartorialist's muse and this chair featured in real simple.
the stunning jessica stam and a one-of-a-kind dining room show that orange and black doesn't have to mean halloween.
