i know i've already professed my love of calligraphy but seeing new examples of artists' work just makes me so happy. i desperately want to learn!
can any of you do calligraphy? if so, how did you learn? was it tough? tell me everything!

{all calligraphy is by the incredibly talented neither snow spotted on the always inspiring delight by design}

I took a class in High School and it was fun, not hard.. you could probably by a book or go online and learn it on your own because you are creative! xo

I love it too. I always try to practice it, but never feel like I'd actually ever get to use it. :)

I love calligraphy so much, but never learned how. I really should, the few people I know who took a class said it wasn't very difficult. It would bring me so much joy to send people super fancy calligraphed envelopes with a little card just to say hi inside!

I take a 2 hour class once a week, but I never seem to find enough time to practice. I totally love calligraphy too.

One of my neighbors took a class and now she's really quite good. But she practices all the time. I think it's like finding your handwriting style...only harder! That black one is PERFECT!

So so pretty! I adore calligraphy, too... when I was in design school, we had to take some classes on it, in order to understand the written letterforms, pre-type. I loved it, and while I was not the most talented, I watched a few classmates blossom and develop a true passion...

Thanks for sharing :)

Wish I had time to learn as I'd LOVE to do my own invites. It costs a fortune to have someone do it for you. LOVE all of these though!
