If you follow me on Twitter, you know that one of my new favorite pastimes is clicking through other bloggers' blogrolls to find new-to-me blogs. I found Jen's blog Her Waise Choice through Anh at 9 to 5 Chic and instantly fell in love with her unfussy elegance.
Jen describes herself as "a Vancouver girl who believes that you can be stylish without being superficial, on trend without being a slave to fashion, and look good without looking down on others." I mean, who doesn't love that philosophy?
Like me, Jen gravitates toward solid colors or simple patterns like polka dots and stripes. Much of her wardrobe seems to be geared toward classic pieces like statement sunglasses and the perfect trench.
I also like Jen's emphasis on affordability. Many of her fashion finds come from places like Forever 21, H&M, and Zara — perfect for those of us on a college student or recent grad budget.
Isn't she adorable? I love that she mixes polka dot prints of different sizes.
I have the same white skirt from Zara and I love the idea of pairing stripes with leopard print. How unexpectedly chic!
Do yourself a favor and go check out Her Waise Choice. Now tell me — what are some of your favorite new-to-you blogs?

Just about to check out her blog... I lovvve finding new blogs, especially when I get hooked and literally look through all their posts, sometimes going back like five years! This happened to me the other day with Song for Style (absolutely love this girl, called Aimee, lives in San Francisco) and Could I Have That (Samantha, Santa Barbara, amazing style and annoyingly beautiful!)
If it's any consolation, I have just discovered your blog, and I'm currently going through all of your posts!! So thank you for entertaining me on my day off!
Love Sarah
