Wardrobe Must-Have

The silk blouse has had a major resurgence in the past year or so and with good reason. I've been shopping around for a good deal and so far this looks to be the best of the best:
{Greylin, $97 — also available in black, blue, and white}

I love the collar, the single pocket, and of course that color! It's affordable without sacrificing on quality (I hate Forever 21's version of "silk" fabrics!) What do you think of silk blouses and this one in particular?

Love this one but you should check out Calypso - they ALWAYS have great silk tops on sale!

Love this top! And you are so right about forever 21's idea of "satin". Sometimes it is just better to spend the extra dollar.

That is a good price and the color is awesome! I would caution you to stay away from J.Crew silk tops as well - the material is extremely thin and I've been sent two that had slight holes in them.

Ann Taylor has nice silk blouses & I haven't had any problem with J. Crew's yet. I have been adding more to my collection in brighter colors for Spring! :)

I love silk blouses! Live in them throughout the year - except not as much in the winter because I'm always cold. J.Crew is great and I actually love Madewell for interesting silk tops! (no surprise there)

I love the look, but I feel I need a bit more structure.

I received the Blythe blouse from J.Crew for xmas and I'm obsessed. The drape is just so beautiful, the color super intense, and it goes with everything. I want to stock up on more of them!

I never considered myself a pink girl but have been going crazy for hot pink lately! Gorgeous!

I don't wear silk a lot anymore, except I do have several silk dresses I love. Also I like fine gauge silk knit sweaters.

It seems for most silks they stain so easily , even a water spot and it is off to the cleaners.

The blythe at J. Crew has been my go to. I think Victoria from VMac and Cheese rocked a gorgeous pink one at Alt!

I absolutely love! I have been in the market for a white silk top and I don't want a button down collared silhouette because I just bought this awesome one from JCrew-http://www.jcrew.com/womens_category/tops/blouses/PRDOVR~37871/37871.jsp

If you don't already have you need to get!!

I love silk blouses and they are definitely a must have. They can be worn on anything, and can transition so easily from a day time look to happy hour or a evening look! I find them to be very chic in a casual way! Great choice too for this one in particular.

I would go to work unclothed if it weren't for silk blouses. They make any bottom look fantastic!
