His & Hers

This past Saturday, Michael and I hopped in the car and drove up to a little inn in Concord, Massachusetts, that we booked through Living Social. The next day we stopped in Boston and took some outfit pictures in the Boston Common before grabbing a bite to eat at Quincy Market.
ON HIM: Castaway Clothing sweater / Land's End shirt / Brooks Brothers pants / New Balance sneakers ON HER: Ralph Lauren shirt (similar here) / H&M belt (similar here) / Loren Hope bracelet / Urban Outfitters jeans / Longchamp bag / Tory Burch flats (similar here and here)

 It was so nice to get away (even just for one night!) and makes me want to plan more day trips in the area. Do any of you New Englanders have any recommendations?

yay New England! the next time you're up this way, you need to let me know :) Newport, RI is a great little destination--so is Providence, but then again, I'm biased! haha. Happy Monday, lovely! xoxo {av}

I second Newport! Or, if you don't mind driving a little further, head up to Maine and spend time in Ogunquit. So cute and beachy. Though, I grew up spending every summer there so I might be biased...

A really quick and cozy trip from the D-town is to Essex, CT or Old Lyme, CT. Really lovely little towns, great antique stores, cute inns, Florence Griswold Art Museum - pretty much a win win.

So funny, I have a freakishly identical belt and pair of jeans! Wearing them right now. Oh and I also have that same Longchamp bag... Thanks for giving me new styling tips :)

SO cute!

I love Concord - I went to high school down the road in Groton (gorgeous, but not a ton to do).

If you ever want to spend more time in Massachusetts, I highly recommend the North Shore for a weekend trip (summer or fall are best). There is TONS to see between Ipswich, Gloucester, Salem, and so many towns in between - and the area has such an old colonial/New England-y feel. :)

Townpool.com is another good site to check out for the deals (Martha's Vineyard/Cape). I am heading up to Boston this weekend... I hope we get a nice day like you did!!
