I'm off to Nantucket first thing tomorrow morning and believe me when I say it's not a moment too soon! Today I'm busy packing my bags and wishing I had the above ensemble to join me on my travels. I'll try to pop back in again on my trip but here are a couple things to check out while I'm away:
1. Shopbop's summer sale is out of this world. I'm eyeing this bow bikini top, this classic shirtdress, a cool cuff, this leather skirt, and this striped number.
2. J.Crew is offering 40% all swim. I love these bow bottoms, this polka dot top, this striped one-piece.
3. I always stock up during coffee book sales at One Kings Lane. This is one of my favorite covers, Slim Aarons is a must, and I obviously couldn't resist this.
4. Don't forget: new arrivals at designdarling.com! These quirky coasters are a new favorite.

A few noteworthy new arrivals in the boutique...
1. I'm gaga for these cutting boards. The small is great for a dorm room or get all three as a summery hostess gift!
2. This boxed card set is pretty much genius. With 40 cards for every occasion from birthdays to get well, you'll never need to waste another moment in the Hallmark aisle again.
3. "I'm outdoorsy in that I like to get drunk on patios." Need I say more?
4. If you're having a nautical moment (and/or looking for affordable art), you could totally frame this letterpress card.

TRAPEZE SCHOOL NEW YORK
Last night Eddy and I took a beginners' class at Trapeze School New York! I was such a scaredy cat but it was an absolutely incredible experience. We started with simple knee swings then moved up to back flips and a few catches at the end. I can't believe how much we learned in just two hours! All the staff members were so encouraging and the view of the city skyline was breathtaking — I couldn't recommend the entire experience more highly. Number 68, done and done!
P.S. I wore my favorite Thomas Kelly leggings!
GREENWICH POLO CLUB
Way too many pictures from a lovely picnic and polo match with Emily, Shelly, and Alex on Sunday! It was so nice to escape the city for the afternoon and do something totally different for a change. I can't say we really watched much of the match but there was plenty of girl talk, people watching, and prosecco to boot. Number 92, crossed off the list!

I know I can't stop talking about dresses lately but I couldn't leave this one out! The A-line shift is universally flattering but it's the big bow and hot pink hue that really got my heart racing. Wouldn't it be perfect for a girlfriend's wedding? I paired it with a matching hot pink manicure and neutral accessories but I'd love to know how you'd style it. Do tell!
CLARE VIVIER FLAT CLUTCH
I've decided that one of my next purchases will be one of Clare Vivier's flat clutches. Aren't they stunning? Clare began designing leather goods after noticing a need for chic laptop cases (#brilliant) and I couldn't be more smitten with her simple but chic designs. I'm torn among the three options above... The pink is the perfect pop of color, the leopard is a great neutral-with-a-twist, and the navy would go with my 99% navy wardrobe... Help a girl choose?!

"THINKING IS SCARY, BUT IT'S WORTH IT."
"Do you ever go for a walk just to think?" an old friend asked over drinks the other night. I thought about it. I walk everywhere — to the coffee shop, the gym, the library. I walk my dog three times a day. But walking just to think? No, I guess it's been a while. Too long, in fact.
Do you ever catch yourself just going through the motions? Like you're out of energy and ideas? It's easy to keep on down that path, isn't it? It's way harder to acknowledge it and take time to really think about why that might be the case.
I'm grateful for the people in my life who can tell me when I'm not my best self and who can give me a bit of a reality check. I don't have it all figured out right now so I guess today we'll call it food for thought. As my friend said, "Thinking is scary, but it's worth it."
On a happier note, I could not be more ready for a little vacation next week. I think a couple days on Nantucket with my cousins and siblings is just what the doctor ordered.

NEW ARRIVALS AT CHARM & CHAIN
I've always loved pearls and turquoise (and bonus points when they're together!). The new arrivals at Charm & Chain have both in spades so let's all play pretend for a moment.
