I had such a lovely evening celebrating my bestie's birthday party in New York yesterday and it made me think of how important it is to have a space that's large enough to entertain in but cozy enough to feel intimate and special. You know, something along these lines...
...each with enough room for six or eight to eat comfortably and a fabulous piece of statement artwork that gets the conversation going if the wine doesn't. Which is your favorite?

I think the first one is my favorite and the fourth one is the runner up. I love having dinner parties and these rooms would definitely make for some great ones!
Oooh, lovely! I had a dinner party last night, and we just shoved two tables together and used a mishmosh of chairs. These pictures are something to aspire to.
I love the one with the Imperial Trellis wallpaper! The chairs in that room are my fav too. These are amazing inspiration photos, I love them all!! Nancy
Couldn't agree more! I like my expandable Ikea table. Maybe not my top decorating choice, but it's great for a small apartament and un-expanded it remains a cozy little table for my boyfriend and me.

The last two pics...even though it is oddly not my style at all! I just love that rustic table...

i love the mix in the rebecca june room... though i'm kind of loving the last image too.
That final space is perfect - airy and light but cosy and comforting at the same time!
Glad you had a fun weekend with your bestie!

Loving the one from Rebecca June. What a fun round up!
I looove dinner parties, and kitchens like these are gorgeous :)
I loooove the Rebecca June room! That table could handle red wine spills & still look fab. The wood + chandelier is a beautiful contrast!
LOVE the last one!! The shorter runners would work so well on my odd sized table, but I never would have thought of that. Gorgeous!
Oh it's hard to pick just one! They're all fabulous! Glad you had a nice time at the party :)
Fantastic light fixtures, especially the chandelier at the top. Just gorgeous!

That second room is just perfect - I love the chandelier over the wood table.
we have a square table than can seat 8 or more, I dream of having a long table like these one day though.
