I'm far away from getting married myself but I've been dying to attend a wedding. Won't someone volunteer? I want all the fun of picking out dresses and flowers and decor without the commitment of actually tying the knot myself. Mostly I'd just like an excuse to take a spin through J.Crew's new Bridal Boutique at 769 Madison Avenue in New York.
Top-to-bottom gorgeousness. The styling of the bookshelves, the clean lines of the brassy desk, the amazing floor detail...
More beautiful built-ins and fabulous flooring.
How stunning is the fur vest over the wedding dress on the left? Genius!
Unexpected blue paint creates a fun little vignette in what appears to be a dressing room. Take me there!

I completely understand, I want to go too, even though I dont have a wedding to plan -- it just looks irresistable!
Beautiful store, but I need to STAY away from bridal stores for about a year or two...We had eight weddings this year! Yes 8! and we still have 3 more...AND all the brides come to me for wedding advice, which I love, but I need a little break...
SO chic! This is on my "try to visit" list for when my New York work schedule starts up in Fall.
Take me there too please! So beautiful.
J.Crew can do no wrong!!
I never tire of wedding details :)
you sound just like my younger sister. she is always encouraging marriage (me) an in general is jealous of whenever I am in a wedding or attend one. None of her friends are tying the knot yet.
Wow that place is a brides heaven!!
Not sure it will be happening for me anytime soon, but if it does you'll be the first to know! xoxox

weddings are on the top of my favorite things list... especially out of town weddings. I'm glad I don't have the pressure of planning my own right now, plus all my friends will be planning pros by the time I get around to it.
oh gosh, they have a bridal boutique??? i wouldn't be able to stop from going there all the time just to look :)
Oh my, so lovely! My friends aren't the marrying kind yet, either, and I'm sorta waiting until someone takes the plunge. My cousin just got engaged, though, so I think that will be a good dose of wedding for awhile.
What, I keep on reading about weddings all over blogland! You need to get in with the right crowd :-) Believe it not, I was not interested in weddings until AFTER I got married! My mother had to persuade me to go into a bridal boutique!
I'm getting married in two weeks! Would love to have you as my bridesmaid :)
i'm with ya girl - FAR from getting married - even tho everyone thinks i am and everyone is waiting for me - BUT i'll let everyone else do it - and i'll just ENJOY the party!!!

A total bride's haven! I love it! I have been married for some time, but i'd totally go there if only to just check out the space:-).
It's lovely! And I just love going to weddings too. I'm going to one in a few weeks and can't wait :)
Ooh, thanks for posting this. The bookshelf in the first pic is exactly what I'm "trying" to do with my living room built-ins:) I needed that inspiration photo.
I'm so with you, hun, I am craving a good party right now! Let's play Wedding Crashers shall we?! xo
Oh I should have gone!! Darn! I went to their "Collections" store on Madison Ave. And I ran into Kelly Rutherford!! What??? So amazing. She was gorgeous, JCrew was gorgeous, it was just awesome.
PS I'm doing a giveaway to promote charity. Come check it out!

What a cool look! Maybe a Liquor Store annex for tuxes is not far off?
Perhaps you should be a high end wedding planner. I love wedding and to this day love to flip through bridal magazines.
