COLLECTING COFFEE TABLE BOOKS

Ask and you shall receive! A bunch of you asked about my favorite design and fashion books after I took this picture of my bookshelves on Instagram (and the second here) and I'm more than happy to share. I posted about a few favorites back in this post but my collection has grown leaps and bounds since then and I'm constantly finding new titles that need to find their way to my doorstep. (Take note, gift givers! There are few things I love to receive more than a good book. Unless it's something monogrammed... But you already knew that.) Without further ado, a few current favorites and a few I'm eager to  add to my shelves:

Do you collect coffee table books? I'm dying to hear your favorites!

I absolutely collect coffee table books! I actually did a similar round up of books I'm looking to add to my collection yesterday :). They are the perfect gift and the perfect styling tool!

I'm on a coffee table book kick too! Many of my favorites overlap, but here are some others that I love (I work in weddings/events so a lot are in that genre!):
-The Dangerous Guide for Girls
-Handmade Weddings
Style Me Pretty Weddings
-Jacqueline Kennedy: The White House Years
-Domino Book of Decorating
-Recipes for Parties

I love coffee table books. That Kate Spade book is at the top of my wish list! I just bought the three volume Vogue set off Amazon - Vogue Living, Vogue Weddings, and The World in Vogue. Best box set ever and an amazing deal to boot!

I've been collecting coffee table books since I was 14. The first one I received was the giant orange "Grace: 30 Years of Fashion at Vogue." It arrived with all the Paris shipping marks on the box. From then on, I was obsessed. I really enjoy the hunt of finding rare ones...they almost always appreciate in value. And I love having a story behind every book.

Absolutely! Not only are they fun to flip through on a lazy Sufay afternoon, they're the ultimate decoratin accessory! Al the KW books are on my list right now, and that trench book!

I miss my coffee table books! Since I'm at college I left all of mine at home on my beautiful white bookshelves and instead my shelves house my collection of school books. My favorites are design and decor books - I need to pick up some more!

I love coffee table books! I've been picking them out since I was a kid. I recently purchased a gorgeous one on impressionism at the Met.

I have a lot of the ones you see everywhere but I like to change them seasonally. Most of the year I have Things I Love, the Domino and Design Sponge interior design books, and Jonathan Adler, but around Halloween/fall I bust out the Edward Gorey, Charles Addams and Camille Rose Garcia books!

I got a close friend of mine that Vintage Cocktails book for the holidays, it's fabulous-the cover is even somewhat soft, and the images are stunning!
