1. Art.com: Posters and prints and unlimited framing options.

2. Design Darling: Pretty prints, all under $50.

3. Etsy: Amazing deals if you know where to look. A few of my current favorites: Coco DrawsKerry SteelePamela M.The Joy of Color, and Theresa Drapkin.

4. Gray Malin: Gorgeous photographs starting at $149.

5. Land of Nod: Right now there's a collection of prints curated by Joy Cho all priced at $20.

Great post. I've been struggling with this for MONTHS for my new office which has WAY WAY WAY too much wall space and it stresses me out. I'm a new attorney, so I just can't decide how feminine I want it to be...like tons of floral prints next to my diplomas? Tough balance!!!

Art is something that I am not willing to break the bank over just yet especially because who knows what my style will be like when I move in with my husband so prints right now are a great options. Plus if you get tired of it you don't feel obligated to keep it because of price tag. Great post. Love the prints in your shop

Well, since this is a post about finding affordable art, I'll just shamelessly self promote my society6 account since it's in the same price range: http://society6.com/thathannahgirl

Also, my art/project blog here in case you want anything that I haven't put on society6: http://thehannahblog.tumblr.com/

These are good ideas to start with. But, once you do find an artist whose style you love, don't be afraid to contact her directly. I usually give discounts to repeat collectors. I'm sure some other artists might as well. Also, if you like the style of a piece, but not the colors, many artists might be willing to make you a custom colored original that doesn't break the bank. (Full disclosure: I also sell on etsy.)
