It's taken me for-ev-er but I've definitely settled into a typical workweek routine in the city. Eddy and I pack orders for the boutique on Monday/Wednesday/Friday and Carly and I work on our laptops at a coffee shop on Tuesday/Thursday. Ideally I'd be spending less time packing boxes and more time on blog collaborations and product sourcing but still I've never felt so happy to be working hard at something I love. 

This is a pretty standard look for me these days: oversized sweater, skinny jeans, and shoes that don't kill my feet. Carly and I have vowed to snap each other's outfits more often (does this mean I have to do my hair every day?) so I hope you'll stay tuned for a few more style posts around these parts! xx

REAL MEN WEAR PINK ;)

Have you ever seen anything more precious in your whole life? My family's dog Coach and my puppy Rory (who is roughly twice as big now...!) received these hot pink quilted vests from Martha Stewart Pets and I was legitimately squealing when we put them on. And they'll be super warm for winter in Connecticut/New York! If you look closely, the quilting is actually stitching in the shape of dog bones... Too. Cute. For. Words.

Call me biased but there aren't many boys who do preppy menswear as well as my brother Grayson. He swears by classics like a navy blazer and driving loafers but isn't afraid of a playful detail (striped bowtie and knit ski socks). Everybody loves a boy in a bow tie...

NORDSTROM BEAUTY WISHLIST

My mom and I popped into Nordstrom when we were up in Rhode Island for Thanksgiving and had a lot of fun sampling perfumes (thank God for coffee beans...) and a few beauty products. Marc Jacobs Daisy is already in my rotation but we both surprisingly really liked Katy Perry's Killer Queen fragrance (a similar floral scent — I'm so predictable!). The bottle is super unique and truth be told I kind of have a girl crush on her after watching her documentary on Netflix. A little interiors themed wishlist since I seriously miss the process of decorating my apartment! Serena & Lily has some seriously awesome original artwork right now — I love this, this, and this. I really think there are few home purchases more special than artwork that makes you happy but I included a few really fun decor items above if you're not looking to break the bank on an original canvas. Isn't the lucite letter great? I think it'd make a perfect gift for just about anyone. Speaking of decor gifts, these and these seem to be the most popular item for the holidays so far!
