WEEKEND READING

Every girl will relate to this. Ha!

I bought this skirt — does it not scream Design Darling?

I can't stop staring at my friend Gray Malin's photos from Antarctica.

I created a few new Pinterest boards that I'm embarrassingly excited about.

Now on sale: this super chic "going out" top. (Does anyone else say that?)

A pretty new planner to start 2014 off right.

This family is seriously awesome.

Traveling for the holidays? My favorite weekend bag is back in stock (and only $70).

ON FRIDAYS, WE WEAR PINK

Oooof, thank God it's Friday. I truly love what I do but this time of year is absolute mayhem for running an online store and it's been a little too long since I had a good night's sleep or a day that didn't involve some sort of last-minute crisis. Eddy and I have been packing and shipping practically around the clock (this was just one afternoon this week...) and I think we're both really ready for a break from work and some quality time with our families. Finally it feels like we're in the home stretch! Because my own outfits have been sweatshirts and yoga pants nothing to write home about this week, here's a little pop of hot pink to inspire your weekend style... I hope you have a great one! xx

J.Crew (on sale!)  //  Alice & Olivia  //  J.Crew

3.1 Phillip Lim dress via Gilt Groupe (similar here)

I don't always have time to take outfit pictures during the week (particularly during this busy season!) but here are a few recent looks snapped on Instagram. Follow along right here!

SLEEPY JONES MACARON UNDIES

You know all about my love for Sleepy Jones (remember this fun post?!) so I'm excited to share a sneak peek of their newest arrivals: the macaron undies! Inspired by lemon, pistachio, and strawberry macarons, they are seriously the brightest and comfiest things in my top drawer at the moment. And don't get me started on the packaging — just as cute and, ahem, cheeky as what's inside. If you're looking for a dreamy last-minute gift, check out all their new arrivals right here!

TUCKERNUCK HOLIDAY WISHLIST

Carly and I had a fun opportunity to collaborate on our holiday wishlists with Tuckernuck and had so much fun shooting these pictures on the Upper East Side. I'm more than a little obsessed with this Annabel Ingall leather tote (coveting the silver version...) and clearly I couldn't get over Teddy's little Barbour jacket. Shop all of our gift picks right here

P.S. I wore these shoes which are now on sale!

IT'S BEGINNING TO LOOK A LOT LIKE CHRISTMAS...

Can you believe there are less than ten days until Christmas? My apartment is feeling a lot like Santa's workshop right now with all hands on deck for holiday orders. We still have plenty of items in stock and ready to ship in time for Christmas, including our popular monogrammed desk accessories (which we can now monogram in gold!).

If you're still shopping (I'm totally guilty...), all orders placed by this Wednesday, December 18, will arrive before Christmas Eve (unless specified otherwise in the product description). It's been a really amazing holiday season already and I can't wait to have all your orders in the mail so we can all sit back, relax, and enjoy the most wonderful time of the year!

WEEKEND READING

My cousin Maddie wearing the cutest hot pink coat at Thanksgiving!

1. After a friend's birthday dinner here, I'm dying to check out more Christmas lights here.

2. A holiday appetizer that's pretty and yummy.

3. Ballet flats with scalloped edges? You know I'm loving these.

4. Barbour jackets on sale... Use code VERYMERRY20 for 20% off at checkout.

5. From the archives: a look at Olivia Palermo's style.

6. I'm getting excited to move into a new apartment early next year as the boutique has seriously outgrown this little studio. This is pretty much my dream desk set-up.

7. I'm kind of a freak about handwriting so these custom signature necklaces are right up my alley.

8. In case you missed it: the classic girl's ultimate Christmas list.

9. In New York next week? Check out this exhibit before it closes on December 21.

10. The best is yet to come.

P.S. In case you missed them:

CHRISTMAS BAR CART

Target glassware c/o  //  C. Wonder ginger jar (similar)

As you may remember from this post last year, I'm a big fan of holiday decor that's not your traditional red and green. A little garland and a single strand of Christmas lights make even hot pink feel totally festive! I wish I were planning a fabulous holiday fête this year but that will have to wait for a larger apartment... In the mean time, this happy little set-up is enough to tide me over until Christmas in Connecticut! How have you decorated chez vous? Do tell so I can live vicariously! ;)

WHAT TO WEAR WHEN IT'S FREEZING

I don't know about you but the moment it gets cold or wet outside, I pretty much go into survival mode. (How many layers can I possibly wear at one time?) We had our first real snowfall in New York this past weekend and I've totally been guilty of sacrificing style for staying dry and warm. I'd like to think it's totally possible to do both, à la these inspiring examples...

A few style notes: winter white coats, pom pom hats (I asked my parents for this one for Christmas), faux fur, my new favorite coat, leather gloves (great selection right here). My favorite is the navy coat with yellow details — the perfect bit of prep. Stay warm, my friends! xx
