Papered Powder Rooms

I've long preferred paint over wallpaper (too many hours spent stripping paper in an aunt's kitchen I think) but these pretty bathrooms have me reconsidering. Graphic wallpaper is perfect for small rooms like bathrooms and closets where you can make a big statement without worrying about how to decorate around it.
The forever chic ScalamandrĂ© zebra paper that I swooned over in Kate Spade's bathroom is again gorgeous with gold accents and exposed plumbing. I swear this design firm can do no wrong!
How darling is this black and white chair pattern? It reminds me of Annechovie's wildly chic chair prints. Note the black ceiling — design is in the details.
Monogrammed hand towels are the perfect finishing touch in this floral bath. What a welcoming addition for guests!

Have you wallpapered any rooms in your house? Do you restrict bold patterns to smaller rooms? And lastly have you seen Jonathan Adler's insane collection of wallpaper? To die for.

Back In Action

My sincere apologies for falling behind on blogging last week. As some of you may know, I am in the midst of moving into my off-campus house at Bucknell and have been buried in a sea of boxes and clothes for the past few days. Add to the mix catching up with friends whom I hadn't seen since leaving for France last January, attending rush meetings for my sorority, and training for my job with Alumni Relations and it's been one busy week! Daily blogging will resume immediately and I promise I'll return your comments and emails the first chance I get. Thank you for hanging in there!

Lauren Stern

There are few moments as exciting for me as the discovery of a previously unknown to me interior designer's online portfolio. Needless to say I was thrilled to stumble upon Lauren Stern's work via a post on Seesaw Designs, who recently designed her business cards.
I'm quite certain I could walk into any one of these spaces and never want to leave!
