Sugar Paper

I'm swooning over the custom stationery in new-to-me Sugar Paper's portfolio. Raspberry envelopes, gold type, polka dot liners, scalloped edges... Design is in the details!

Kate Powers

I'm head over heels for these new additions to the stunning portfolio of photographer Kate Powers. I love the model's subdued makeup and coral manicure, not to mention the Rothko paintings surrounding her. Don't even get me started on her polka dot skirt — to die for!

Desk Du Jour

I'm thinking my efforts to write final papers today would be more effective if I could write them in an office like Miss Kelly Wearstler's! Bright yellow walls, huge abstract art, the most awesome modern desk, and crazy cool pink chairs... It's a far cry from my outpost in Starbucks!

Gift Guide {Stocking Stuffers}

A carefully curated collection to remind you that good things come in small packages.

Seasonal Sparkle

Just a little gold and silver to brighten your Tuesday afternoon! It's my last day of classes for the semester and I'm certainly in need of a little sleep sparkle myself.

Window Seats

A window seat is definitely on the list of requirements for my dream home. I love everything about the first space: white walls, herringbone floors, and gorgeous bay windows. Do you like window seats? Which of these spaces is your favorite?

Style Icon {Peony Lim}

She's the first to admit her newcomer status but Peony Lim already has the makings of a style icon. Not familiar yet? She's one third of the street style blog PRP, which incidentally stands for Photographing Real People and the initials of its three contributors, Pete, Row, and Peony. She and her two equally chic friends aspire to various positions in the fashion industry and have been photographed by a number of street style bloggers outside of London Fashion Week, to which they have not (yet!) been invited. The free publicity is well-deserved, however — these girls (and boy!) have some serious personal style!

Happy Monday, everyone! The time for seasonal soirées is upon us and that means your wardrobe is working overtime! Take the stress out of accessorizing with one (or two!) of these gorgeous bags from my lovely new sponsor, Cory Renee. Based out of Denver, Colorado, Cory sells gorgeous party clutches that can be customized to match your go-to dress or to outfit all your bridesmaids at completely affordable prices. They would make great gifts for a best friend or stylish sister, too!

Light & Bright

Bright white walls, stainless steel appliances, and industrial pendant lighting... Love, love, and love! Add in the pink tulips from the first kitchen and you've got my dream space.

Have a happy weekend! What are your plans?

Resort Reverie

It's a little early to start pining for warmer weather but I can't help falling in love with these new arrivals at Lilly Pulitzer! The dress would be perfect for a tropical New Year's soirée but it's the accessories I'm truly craving. I'm certain the wedges would improve my posture and the pretty-in-pink pencil case my studies — and as for the bangles? I'll take one in every color ;)

Style Icon {The Glamourai}

Clearly I've been hiding under a rock somewhere because I've only just devoured discovered the fashion genius that is Kelly Framel. Her blog, The Glamourai, is an absolute gem that covers Ms. Framel's outfits du jour — she calls them her costumes! — as well as sneak peeks of her home, her collaboration with Coach, and her adventures in jewelry design.
Every picture looks to me as though it belongs in the pages of my favorite magazine and her use of accessories is nothing short of brilliant. You simply must hop over to The Glamourai for more of Kelly's fabulous taste!

A New Reason To Shop

My darling housemate Kelly sent me this picture over the summer and I've been waiting to share it until the holiday season was upon us! Isn't it genius? It's the perfect solution for all those shopping bags that are too pretty to throw away. As if you needed another reason to hit the shops this December...

Excessorize

Those who subscribe to The Rachel Zoe Report or follow the celebrity stylist on Twitter know that she invented the word "excessorize" to replace "accessorize" in her imaginative vocabulary. I'm usually a keep-it-simple kind of girl but these pictures are resonating strongly with me. Perhaps this month I'll break out of my comfort zone with a charming mix of bangles and, yes, multiple watches — pretty need not always be practical!

High Ceilings

{Source unknown}

 Whether they're beamed, domed, or vaulted, high ceilings seem to me one of the greatest architectural luxuries. Particularly when paired with white walls and simple furnishings, they steal the show every time. An added bonus? The higher the ceiling, the taller the Christmas tree! Welcome to December, everyone!
