i thought wrong

happy monday, my darling readers! how was your weekend? london has been lovely and, as always, the street style here has not disappointed! while we're on the subject of style (aren't we always?) i'd like your opinion on the following trend. you see, i thought oxford shoes were dreary and masculine, but then i saw these lovely ladies rocking the look:
and now... i think i thought wrong.

what's your take?

sienna & olivia ♥ they're both so chic and lovely! stripes are my addiction and the white skirts are adorable :)

I love them but wouldn't wear them with a mini skirt and no socks. That just isn't me. I can picture these being regular "go-to" shoes with jeans or pants, though.

Olivia and Sienna sure know how to rock those shoes, but I think I'm going to steer clear of the trend, especially because I love sandals for the spring and summer season.

I love oxford shoes and am currently on the hunt for the perfect pair! xo

I only ever wear flats; so I could see myself wearing them. I think the trick is finding a pair with a more feminine shape that isn't super bulky. I mean if Sienna and Olivia are doing it...

LOVE THEM :) I like simple ones, like Olivia's ...actually, Repetto has some beautiful ones, too, if you want to see more styles...I think they're a must-have!

They're fabulous! On Sienna & Olivia. My two faves...those girls can do no wrong. I'm going to skip it though. Hope you're having fun in London Town!

I have been seeing them all over NYC lately, and I think they are cute. I would never wear them, but can see why people like them.

I mean if you have legs like that you can wear straight up clodhoppers and look dainty!

I thought this was one trend i would skip until i saw a gorgeous pair by steve madden. now I love them with dresses, skirts, and even shorts.

always thought they were a little dreary and masculine as well {have always been a heels girl}, but these look quite fresh and summery -- perhaps in white or silver is the key?
