Rise & Shine

I'm awake at an ungodly hour this morning — which for me means 8:15 — to tackle some work before the day truly begins. (Hey, I worked hard to get to senior year and be able to schedule my classes in the afternoon.) It made me think a) that I would much prefer to be curled up in this beautiful bedroom from the pages of Lonny, b) I'm grateful for coffee shop employees who understandingly offer an extra shot of espresso without me asking for it, and c) that waking up and seizing the day might actually be better than my usual night owl tendencies. What time does your alarm go off in the morning?

If by alarm you mean my 2 year old, than anytime after 5am:( Thank god almighty for coffee is all I have to say. Gorgeous bedroom shot from Lonny- loved those gauzy draped side tables.

Depends on which day of the week it is and when lectures start. Sometimes 6:30, most times 7:30 and on weekends probably between 8 and 9.

that bed is divine! typical workday starts with me getting up around 7:15. I miss those college days of sleeping in! :)

I'm a million times more an early bird than a night owl, esp for my senior year of college, so I'm usually up by 7:30 and headed to the gym. I absolutely adore my bed, though... I probably should spend a little more time in it, to be honest. Loving the white and silver pillow in this shot!

Haha! I'm so with you on 8:15 being an early morning. My first class today is at 2:00, so I am taking full advantage of sleeping in :)

We're on the same clock, this morning that is...but I think you and PrettyStuff have the same Senior Year plan! Her semester started today...it's 1:30, wonder if she's in class yet...

8:15! I'm very jealous. I'm out of bed by 6:00am, almost 365 days a year...

Usually 8-9 ish, depending on when I have class, but this morning it was 6:30 to travel back to school for a 9am class after a weekend home. Not the most fun :P

Lucky girl! I'm definitely a night owl and have trouble getting to bed early but nonetheless the alarm rings at 7am M to F. I usually snooze once or twice... I usually try to sleep in 'til 9 on weekends to catch up on much needed sleep!

I'm an early riser! I get up at 5Am every weekday morning for student teaching. On the weekends/days off, I usually sleep until 7 or 8...which is sleeping in for me, but I still get to be productive all day : ) I definitely need my tea to get me started though!
