ROAD TRIPPING

I returned late last night from a fun-filled weekend in Baltimore where I reunited with girlfriends from Bucknell. It was such a treat to escape for the weekend and catch up with some of my favorite people! It got me thinking, I really ought to take more road trips...

(1) Two Bees cashmere sweater (2) Ray Ban wayfarers (my new sunglasses!)

Do you have any road trips planned this summer or are you more the spontaneous type? I definitely need to make an effort to see more beaches and quaint little towns! East Coasters, if you have a favorite place you think I might like, please let me know!

P.S. The darling Caela (who has been helping me with the boutique before she leaves for Argentina!) was kind enough to interview me over the weekend and I'm certain you will all fall in love with her blog! Check it out here and do say hello!

That outfit makes me want to go on more road trips! My favourite piece is definitely the scalloped shorts. They are too cute!

Makenzie,

I have to say I find your fashion choices so inspiring. I just ordered the Lily scalloped edge shorts and purchased two Tuckernuck fitted t-shirts last week. I had never heard of the company before seeing the feature on your blog. You are my new fashion role model. As a young working mom I really appreciate how easy you have made it for me to borrow these ideas and looks. I would appreciate your advice on Nantucket Red pants. I love them, but am looking for a pair that is more of a slim fit and less baggy.

Thanks,

Kate

Hey Mackenzie! A place I love to visit that I have been going to every summer since I was a kid is Kennebunkport, Maine. The town is amazing and the nearby beaches, Kennebunk Beach and Goose Rocks Beach, are wonderful and quiet without a lot of tourists!

Summer road trips are the best! We have been to some great places in New England lately and have shared our experiences on our blog! My recent favorites are Wequassett on Cape Cod and Porches in the Berkshires. And although it's not in New England, Clifton in Charlottesville, VA was incredible!
