Apartment Essentials {Wood Furniture}

Today I'm bringing back the Apartment Essentials series with a traditional twist. While I love white furniture and colorful accents, I love them even more when they're juxtaposed with more traditional pieces. Whether they're family heirlooms, Craigslist finds, or one of these vintage-inspired gems, wood pieces add character and tradition to more contemporary interiors.

How do you use wood in your home?

The Anthro dresser is so darling!

I use wood to balance all the blues and corals in our house ... if I didn't it would feel way to femme for the hubs to stand. Ha.

That Anthropology dresser is my favorite too!

I use wood everywhere - tables, chairs, and an antique game table and loveseat. Recovering the fabric on the seats is a simple way to change colors without changing furniture.

My husband loves wood, so I try to use it whenever possible. We have wood nesting tables, and if we ever get a coffee table, I know that it will be wood. At one point, he was campaigning for wood lamps!

I love these post of yours! Probably because I too still live in an apartment and these ideas serve as inspiration for my tiny space.
