One of the interior design dilemmas that seems to be plaguing some of you (as per this post) is what to hang on the walls. So when I stumbled upon this William Abranowicz photograph (featuring work by Thomas Struth) on a new-to-me favorite blog The Aestate, I knew I had to share! It made me think about blowing up and framing one of my favorite photos from the time I spent abroad (more on that here).
Centre Pompidou in Paris.
Sagrada Familia in Barcelona.
The house from The Sound of Music in Salzburg, Austria.
The Louvre in Paris.
The sculpture garden at the Louvre in Paris.
View from Hohensalzburg Castle in Salzburg, Austria.
ChĂ¢teau de Villandry in the Loire Valley.

Which one shall I frame? Do you have any travel photos framed in your home?

All these pictures make me want to go to Europe so badly! So much architectural beauty!
yes! love this idea! we have a huge gallery wall with pictures from our travels abroad in our living room, photos of all shapes and sizes! most of them in europe. a great reminder of adventures!
love the last one -- so beautiful in a big frame!
The Sound of Music home! Such a breathtaking photo.
All great options, but I vote for the last one. I'm loving the pop of green!
So hard to choose a favorite! But, I would have to say the view from the castle in Austria. Such a breathtaking view.
SUCH a stunning idea and the reason why all pictures should be shot in RAW :) I love your image of the ChĂ¢teau de Villandry in the Loire Valley - the shadows are coloring are so beautiful!
Frame them all! You could put them in different places around your home. You did an amazing job taking them and certainly saw some wonderful sights!
Love this idea ! Really love the first one !!

Anonymous — Thanks for the link. I was referring to the actual photograph (of the room) but I've happily added the name of the artist as well!
What a great idea!
I just love that photograph in the first image...amazing!
Absolutely beautiful!
I think that the last two photos are the best to frame!
This summer I visited Maine, took pictures of lighthouses and landscapes, framed them and created a beautiful B&W gallery in my bedroom.

Simply stunning photos! Such a great idea.
LOVE this idea. I have all of the art work I did while studying in Paris grouped over a bed in my house. Every time I look at them it reminds me of the memories made during my trip. :)
Some of the best photos we have are from a concrete train station by Calatrava in Portugal, and you just inspired me to think about one up ove our couch too! I love this idea so much. Your photos are beautiful! If ever you sell the top one please let me know. It would look amazing blown up. That's my vote!
WOW! You took some fabulous photos! I was in London this summer, I was going to frame a few pictures as well. I love the picture of the house from The Sound of Music! Gorgeous!

Loved all the images!! and the first one above.. wow!
I need to go to my old computer and check my europe travel photos.. I might rescue 1 or 2 and frame them!
who designed your blog?! I just adore it!
All your photos are fantastic, but if I had to choose just one to frame I think I'd go with the last photo. These pics make me want to hop on a plane today!
Noticed that you changed your outfit colours in your header, very festive.

These pictures are great! I would have to blow up and hang the last photo though.
are those your photos? they are fabulous!!! I would choose the sagrada familia one! if I had them I would find the way to hang them all!
Can't believe you took these! They look like they are from a magazine. My favorite has to be of the Louvre. There's something romantic about it.
So stunning. I've got to get my bootie over there! Framing travel photos is such a great way to deck out your walls!
Thanks for the mention! I don't know how I'm just now seeing this, but it totally made my day!
Even though all these photos are GORGEOUS, I would go with the Centre Pompidou! So intriguing and eye catching! I LOVED the Centre Pompidou when I was in Paris and it's somewhat less cliche.. X
