It's finally beginning to feel like spring in my neck of the woods and I'm welcoming the warm weather with open arms. Today I'd like to transport to any one of these impeccably manicured gardens with an Arnold Palmer and a good book in hand. What are you reading these days? I'm so looking forward to having the time to read for pleasure again!

Wish I had a green thumb and could grow a space like this...maybe I should just hire a gardner :)
Such beautiful gardens...love the formality!
The overscaled proportions of the topiary columns in the top image are quite fabulous. A truly lovely garden.
Stunning photos, would love to walk through gardens like these. Need to take a quick trip to England. Reading wise- & staying with the British theme- Phillipa Gregory has been in my hands- have finished the other Boleyn girl and not reading the Virgin's Lover. I really enjoy historical fiction. {And of course recently finished Water for Elephants- which was simply excellent}
LOVE! I am currently growing Rosemary and Basil ... so that's a start, but will be a great addition for all the cooking I plan to do with these herbs!
I could easily spend an afternoon sipping a refreshing drink in one of these gardens!

Drool. I have this major, major lifelong dream to have a perfectly groomed English-style garden with many a hedge and topiary. Ah, wishful thinking...
I have a whole stack of books I've been meaning to get through! Those gardens look like the perfect place to get through my stack :)
