Thank you all for your kind words on my big announcement yesterday. You have me feeling more confident than ever that I'm making the right choice in moving to San Francisco.
This weekend I'll be spending time with a dear friend who's in town after her semester abroad and celebrating the 22nd birthday of a very special someone. I hope you all have a fantastic weekend — you deserve it!

We love your eye for design. You will flourish anywhere. And what better place to start than gorgeous San Fran? Good luck!
Mackenzie, I have no doubt you will be successful WHERE EVER you go. And trust me - you will LOVE LOVE LOVE San Fran! There is so much cultural diversity there, so much great food, cool weather, PLENTY of shopping, beautiful architecture, and opportunities for you. :) When you have time, drive down the coast to LA. Yes, it's a little ways, but you will LOVE it! Congrats on all your success and positive outlook. Please keep us updated.

kisses!
hope you had a great weekend of celebrations! I literally love the back of that dress. Beautiful!
I am totally obsessed with that fabulous first picture. That necklace the way it drapes in the back is beautiful ... looks like you've yet again given me some inspiration to integrate into my own life!
Congrats on your decision to move to Cali! When I finished college, I felt like everyone I knew was moving to DC or NYC... but I knew I needed to move some place truly new that would also be supportive of my ideal career: writing and adapting for TV. So, I headed to LA, and while it hasn't been as smooth a transition as staying on the East Coast, it's been amazing! San Francisco is such a thriving place for all types of design; I'm sure you will love it!
Congrats again! And if you ever need someone to help with articles for Rue re: shopping in LA, I'd be happy to help!
