CUTE WORKOUT CLOTHES

Thank you all for the positive feedback on my new 101 in 1001 list! There's something about setting goals for yourself, putting pen to paper, and sharing them with all of you that makes me that much more excited to get started. I'm actually in the midst of #5 (not shopping for the month of January, eeek!) but of course I find myself making little wishlists for once I can shop again. #19 on my list is to find a friend to join me for Pilates and yoga and start going at least a few times a week. I really enjoy it when I go but I miss having my mom around to take classes together. In any event, I'm thinking a few new workout wear purchases are in order to help motivate me...

I've also been living in this racerback tank from Thomas Kelly — the fabric is so soft for workout clothes! What's your workout regimen? Any favorite workout wear? I need all the help I can get ;)

Your taste and style is stunning! I seriously wear work out clothes without actually working out more than i'd like to admit :)

Looove the Swiftly tech shirts and Wunders from Lululemon. Looks like Nordstrom has some cuties too though!

Like Courtney mentioned above, lululemon's Wunder Unders and Swiftly tech shirts are awesome! I also love their Run: Inspire II crops and the Power Y Tanks. The products are expensive, but I don't feel like they're any more expensive than Athleta or similar brands. Some of my LLL stuff I've had for 3+ years and have run several half marathons in them and they still look brand new! Their clearance "We Made Too Much" section always has tons of cute stuff that you can get for a really good price.

The Fit line of clothes from Gap, especially the tech tee shirts, is affordable, soft, and performs well for me. My favorite splurge/indulgence is anything from Zella, a Nordstrom brand that is durable, stylish, and comfortable as well.

For running shoes, I rotate between Brooks Trance and Nike's LunarEclipse. I read that regularly running with shoes from different manufacturers is good for your balance and endurance, plus it's fun to check out the different options from each brand!

Just picked up some new workout gear yesterday- it does make sweating it out more appealing if you have cute workout gear!

Currently loving the in-house Nordstrom workout brand "Zella". Their ruched tops are cute enough to take you from barre class to brunch in a pinch!

I'm doing the same thing--no shop January! I did it last year, and it was a great way to kick off sticking to my budget. You can do it!

I really like the Zella line at Nordstrom! Personally, the quality is better in my opinion than Lululemon as their products do not seam to pile as bad as Lulu. I also love the cheap nike tshirts as well because I don't worry if they get super nasty or sweaty. I am actually in the middle of writing a new post about my favorite workout gear & fitness routine!

That first pullover is super cute. I usually just wear those soft cheerleading type shorts and a tank for working out, but I think I need to invest in a few cute pieces to motivate me.

So, I never knew Nordstrom had such great picks! I really like the 1st ivory pullover. I probably wouldn't wear this to actually workout...it's too nice :) But I would definitely sport it with my other "fancy" workout/lounge gear while running errands. Really great picks.
