This outfit is so common it's practically a cliché (at least on my college campus and in line at my corner Starbucks every weekend). Let's call it the I'm-wearing-workout-wear-because-it's-comfy-not-because-I-have-any-intention-of-actually-working-out look. Are you familiar? I'm pretty sure we've all been there: comfy t-shirt, running shorts, and a dash of mascara if you remember it before you race out the door. It's the easiest combination to throw on for running errands in the city, chasing around the family dog, or heading to the beach on a windy day. Trendsetting? No. But practical? Very.

I love the shorts! What size are you wearing in them? I want to order but don't know if I want to get a small or medium. For the sake of conversion, to a brand I wear a alot, I wear a 4 in J Crew shorts.

RWH — These are the XS! I'm 5'1" and usually wear a 0 in J.Crew.
Would you say that a size XS in these are about the same fit as a large in kids' Nike shorts or are they more like a children's medium? How do these compare to children's Nikes?

Love the look. I always find I veer more towards workoutish-casual wear in the summer (for the sake of not wanting to sweat and have to dry clean all my tops; t-shirts are just easier).
